Terms & Conditions

Effective Date & Last Updated: August 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, enrolling in courses, making a payment, or accessing live classes and materials on U-Learns (“u-learns.com”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Course Enrollment & Live Class Delivery

U-Learns provides live online instruction (conducted via Zoom), recorded session archives, practical projects, quizzes, and digital certification.

  • Class Attendance: Live cohorts take place at designated East Africa Time (EAT) hours. Students are encouraged to attend live for interactive questions; recorded sessions are uploaded to the student portal.
  • Access Duration: Enrolled students receive ongoing access to their course materials and recordings for the duration of the curriculum cohort and subsequent review periods.
  • Classroom Etiquette: Students must maintain professional, respectful decorum during live Zoom calls and in community discussion channels. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate language will result in immediate suspension without refund.

3. Academic Integrity & Certification Standards

Certificates of Completion are official academic credentials awarded only to students who satisfy graduation standards:

Passing Requirements

Students must submit required weekly quizzes, complete practical homework assignments, and achieve a passing grade on the final exam.

Authentic Identity

Certificates are issued under the student's legal name and registered in our public QR verification ledger. Submitting fraudulent work or sharing quiz answers is strictly prohibited.

4. Tuition Fees, Billing & Refund Policy

All course tuition fees are listed in USD and can be settled via integrated mobile money (Waafi, Zaad, Sahal, E-Dahab, Evc Plus) or debit/credit cards.

  • Tuition Payment: Enrollment in live classes is confirmed once tuition is successfully received and verified by our billing system or administrative desk.
  • Refund Requests: A full refund may be requested up to 48 hours before the first official live class of a cohort. Once a cohort begins and live instruction starts, tuition fees are non-refundable.
  • Cohort Transfers: If an unforeseen circumstance prevents attendance, a student may request a transfer to the next scheduled cohort by contacting the admissions office on WhatsApp.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All curricula, lesson slides, video recordings, software code examples, and assessment materials provided on U-Learns are the proprietary intellectual property of U-Learns and its instructors.

Students are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access materials for their individual educational use. Redistributing, selling, broadcasting, or publicly uploading U-Learns video lectures to YouTube, Telegram, or other platforms is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action under copyright law.
